Imagine an Orange County where all children, youth, and families can access the mental health supports they need, when they need them.
The goal of the County of Orange Health Care Agency (HCA) K-12 School-Based Mental Health Services initiative is to promote early identification, intervention, and timely access to services for students who may be experiencing mental health challenges.
The Resource Directory is one of four training, networking, and resource development projects in the K-12 initiative. Together, these projects work to raise awareness, educate, and empower educators, school staff, families, youth, and personnel who interact with OC students at every level.
The K-12 initiative is an HCA Behavioral Health Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) program, funded by OC Health Care Agency (OCHCA), Mental Health and Recovery Services, Mental Health Services Act/Prop. 63.
