As part of the MHSOAC’s School Mental Health Initiative, they have released of Every Young Heart and Mind: Schools as Centers of Wellness, a plan for transforming California’s K-12 schools into centers for wellness. The report is part of a portfolio of activities focused on young Californians that includes the Triage and Mental Health Student Service Act grants; Striving for Zero, the state suicide prevention strategic plan; the youth empowerment activities and youth drop-in centers; and the ongoing work to fortify strategic investments in prevention and early intervention services.
