There are several articles in this series regarding sex and gender. Talking to teens about sex tends to be the most awkward parenting challenge— for both parents and kids. That’s why both tend to avoid it. In this section we explore why it’s important to talk to teenagers directly about sexual activity and romantic relationships, including porn and sexting. It’s your chance for teaching value and helping your kids make good decisions, ideally before they make them without your guidance.
