Raising Healthy Teens is a program developed for parents of school-aged youth in South Orange County, California, by Mission Hospital, a ministry of Providence St. Joseph Health. The program is part of a three-year strategic initiative to reduce underage substance use in the South OC community. Raising Healthy Teens aims to provide facts and relevant resources adults can use for real-life parenting supporting the belief that positive encouragement and interactions with engaged parents, along with other caring adults, have the greatest impact on healthy youth development.
